How it works
We are not selling power.
We are teaching the things people already forgot.
Astromantra is a depth-selectable learning library for forgotten knowledge — Veda, tantra, alchemy, astrology, numerology, mysticism, and more. Every teaching is distilled from public-domain texts, written fresh in our own words, and cited back to its sources.
How a teaching is made
Four steps, applied to every one of the 93 teachings in the library. The same process, the same honesty, every time.
Gather the sources
We work from a corpus of 5,934 public-domain books and texts — scriptures, treatises, commentaries, and scholarly editions whose copyrights have expired. No pirated books. No scraped modern authors. If a text isn't free for everyone, it doesn't go into the library.
Learn, then write
Each teaching is produced by a learn-and-write process: read everything the corpus holds on a subject, reason across the sources, then write the teaching fresh, in our own words. We never copy-paste. What you read is a distillation — the way a patient teacher explains what they've spent years studying.
Cite every claim
Every substantive claim carries a citation back to the specific source text it came from — title, author, year. Tap any citation to see exactly where a passage of teaching was drawn from. If a claim can't be sourced, it doesn't ship.
Teach at your depth
Every subject is written at three depths. Small gives you the map in about five minutes, free, forever. Deep takes you on the journey in about half an hour. Ultra-deep is the treatise — the full work, roughly an hour of reading, for the ones who want everything.

pirated or modern-copyrighted books used
Copyrighted modern works are never scraped and never copied. When a modern book matters to a subject, we distill it into an original summary — or we leave it out and tell you what we left out.
Two voices, always labeled
Forgotten knowledge lives in two worlds — the tradition that practices it and the scholarship that studies it. We teach both, and we never blur them.
The traditional voice
The teaching as the tradition itself understands it — the lineage, the practice, the inner logic. This is the guru's seat: how the knowledge is transmitted from teacher to student, on its own terms.
The scholarly voice
The historical and critical context — when texts were written, what scholars argue about, where the evidence is thin. The footnotes to the tradition's story, clearly marked as such.
Do you present these teachings as fact?
No — and that's a deliberate choice. Astromantra is a teaching platform, not a preaching one. We present what traditions have taught and what scholars have written, clearly sourced, so you can learn and decide for yourself. Traditional techniques are framed as traditional training, never as guaranteed powers or outcomes.
What are 'traditional' and 'scholarly' voices?
Many subjects carry two honest voices. The traditional voice presents the teaching as the tradition itself understands it — the way a guru would explain it. The scholarly voice adds historical and critical context — when a text was written, what scholars debate about it. We keep the two clearly separated so you always know which you're reading.
Choose a subject. Choose your depth. Begin.
